Far from what I was originally going to do for this piece...I became a little peacock crazy.

The Idea/The Story
There was a Greek woman who was envious of the beautiful peacock; she longed to be as beautiful (if not more beautiful) than the peacock.
Over time her obsession with the peacock grew and she begged the gods to make her as beautiful as the peacock, but her calls went unanswered for years.

Eventually the gods answered her calls. She was given the beautiful blue peacock head and feathers of the peacock under her arms like wings. She believed that she was the most beautiful; she had everything she had always wanted.
Until she saw a peacock of a different colour, one with no colour at all.
